Hi there, so today we’re going to show you how you can create this custom wedding seating chart or event seating chart using nothing but Microsoft Word and a browser. Before we get started, I do want to point out that I have a YouTube website, Printables with Microsoft Word, and there are two notable articles on here, although I do have a myriad of articles on everything from creating chalkboard posters to creating wedding programs. I have a article here on how to turn a Microsoft Word document into a poster at Office Max or Costco, so if you do want to make this into a poster size for your events, you can watch this article after you create the seating chart. The other notable article I want to show is searching for fonts, installing fonts, and using symbols.
If you do not know how to download and install new fonts, please watch this article. I’m using a lot of unique fonts as well as some unique symbols if you want to subscribe to my website and/or like any and all of my articles also if you find a useful advertisement and you want to learn more about it if you want to go ahead and click on that I would be ever so grateful alright let’s get started so the first thing we’re gonna want to do is go to file new blank document so we all kind of start from the same place I then want to go to page layout up here on the tabs. I want to go into margins, and I want to click on narrow. That just gives us a little bit more real estate to work with, all right. The next thing we want to do is insert, and again, you go up here on the river to insert, and you go to text box, and you go to draw a text box.
